With an extension that surpasses five hundred meters along the promenade, Meloneras Beach offers a perfect blend of golden sand and pebbles, making it the ideal spot to spend the day. In contrast to the bustling neighboring beaches of Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés, Meloneras stands out for its tranquil and family-friendly atmosphere. Moreover, it provides all the necessary amenities, including sunbeds, umbrellas, and a variety of restaurants available at the nearby shopping center.
Along the promenade, you will discover the archaeological remains of an ancient aboriginal settlement dating back to the 7th century. Specifically, these are three ancient stone dwellings on the coast that were inhabited until the arrival of the Spanish conquest in the late 15th century.
